Sherland Road Project

Anchor 1

Changing an outdated ground floor to a fresh contemporary design.

Floor improvements, heating system relocation and adjustments, floor plan changes were applied to the living spaces in order to avoid the clutter and increase the ease of flow and comfort.

Started with floor plan changes in the living room, defining the living and the dining areas with walls and openings.

Alcove units create a contemporary look with neat display of reference books and accessories.

Paneling was added to the back of the sofa to create freestanding frames display.

Keeping the dining area simple and free of clutter created a great impact.

The display cabinet is a great example of reuse; it was repainted and given extra sliding doors allowing access from both sides. With LED lighting, it was turned into a room divider as well as a fresh looking china and glassware display.

The kitchen was given a big transformation in terms and colour and material quality.

Top storage units were replaced with a single linear shelf, lifting the space up with its chic and elegant look.

Removing the old bifold garden doors and replacing with crittall double doors added value to the property.

Without having to change the floor plan, the space was given a brighter and clutter free atmosphere.
